What a wonderful joy it is to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about our church.
For almost 100 years the Lord has been using First Baptist Bemis as a lighthouse in this community. We are excited that He is moving among us in a fresh and powerful way. He is expanding our ministry and membership while preparing us for an exciting future.
We are humbly seeking to live out the mission statement the Lord has given us. It is our desire to "love Jesus (with all that we are) and to make Him know" daily as we live our lives. We are striving to create in our church family, as we gather together, the atmosphere for that to take place through our worship, ministry, evangelism, discipleship and fellowship.
First Baptist Bemis wants to be a "family" where families are encouraged and strengthened. With a growing number of young families joining us, our ministries are evolving to meet new challenges. It is truly an exciting time!
If you live in the Jackson, Tennessee area and are searching for a church home where Jesus is magnified, the Bible is believed, taught and preached, and people love the Lord and one another, we encourage you to visit with us.
We hope this Website will be a growing ministry to many people, both in and outside our local area. Enjoy yourself as you look around and please feel free to
e-mail us with your comments and prayer concerns.
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaver.

Congratulations to OUR Graduates of 2012!
