FBC Bemis Ministries
Comforters The Comforters meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays starting at 9:00 a.m. in Herron Hall. Bring your lunch and scissors. They make comforters for hospice patients. Over 2000 patients have received these “gifts of love”. One of our ladies makes baby blankets for the hospital.
Homebound Ministry The Homebound Ministry visits with church members each month.
Plarn Ministry The Plarn ladies meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in Herron Hall. They make mats for the homeless out of plastic bags
Room in the Inn RITI was started in 2006 by Area Relief Ministries. We at FBCB are starting our
8th year of participating in this ministry. The purpose is to provide shelter for homeless men in the Jackson area. On a scheduled night, the men are picked up at the ARM building by the church. The services provided for the guest include supper that night, breakfast in the morning and a sack lunch when they leave and a place to sleep.
Other ministries include: Men's Ministry, Titus 2, and Team Kids.

Vision Statement
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around by our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaven.
